My Story
I founded KP Communications in 2015 to help B2B technology companies build visibility, credibility, and lasting media relationships. I keep my client roster deliberately small, so every client gets senior-level attention.
My career has taken me from promoting Metamucil as a 20-something novice to leading high-profile M&A PR, rebrand strategy, and product launch initiatives for clients across industries. I've honed my expertise in strategic communications, media relations, and content development, and built my business on a simple belief that strategic communication isn't about one message, it's about earning trust by tailoring the story to every reader, every outlet, every stakeholder.
A defining moment in my career: after two years of a consistent strategic PR partnership, I generated enough buzz and media coverage for a healthcare SaaS client that they were acquired by a public company. It's the kind of long-game result that only comes from consistent, credible visibility, not a single splashy headline. The two client contacts who championed that work have since gone on to become a CEO and VP of Marketing at their next company, and six years later, they're still trusting me with their strategy.
